Kiran Ruba

Dr. Kiran Ruba has been a dedicated general practitioner for over 25 years. Born into a Sikh family, Kiran was raised in Malaysia before moving to Australia 27 years ago. Now happily settled in the southwest, Kiran has developed expertise in various fields of medicine and is the proud owner of this GP clinic.

Kiran has a strong interest in general medicine, skin cancer medicine, and integrative medicine. Additional areas of interest include palliative care, psychological medicine, and Men's & Women's health. She is also highly experienced in thyroid and diabetes management, emphasising the importance of individualised care for her patients. Preventative care is a primary focus for Kiran, with a commitment to managing chronic diseases using minimal pharmaceuticals whenever possible.

Recently, Dr Ruba expanded her range of services at the clinic to include injectables treatments, showcasing her versatility as an all-round general practitioner. Kiran is the proud parent of three grown sons and spends her free time enjoying hobbies such as painting and playing golf. Her dedication to her patients, passion for holistic healthcare, and leadership as the clinic owner make her a valued asset to our community.

Stephanie Choularton

Dr. Stephanie Choularton completed her medical degree at the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle in 2013. 

Since then, she has spent time working at Albany Health Campus, Fremantle Hospital and St John of God Midland. She is happy to see all patients and has special interests in digestive health and Paediatrics.

Prior to studying medicine, Stephanie worked for many years as a Naturopath, a career that took her all over the world. She is now happy to be settled here in the South West with her husband, two young boys and chocolate Labrador.

Stephanie works Monday - Thursday. Outside of these hours she will be at the beach, in the garden or (mostly) running around after the kids!

Russell McDonnell

As a GP with extra qualifications as a Medical Acupuncturist, Russell McDonnell has a particular interest in the complex field of chronic pain management. He enjoys offering his experience, knowledge, and support to those with chronic pain, using both conventional therapies and less conventional therapies such as medical acupuncture.

Russell is more than happy to help and support his patients with any physical or mental health issue in order to achieve their optimum health outcomes. He addresses everything from coughs and colds to skin cancer surgery and minor procedures, as well as specialised chronic disease management.

Russell trained as a doctor in Liverpool, UK, and emigrated to Australia in 2007. He was married on Injidup Beach in 2010 and now resides in Cowaramup with his beautiful wife and two children.

To maintain his mental and physical fitness, Russell is passionate about ocean sports, particularly surfing and kitesurfing.

Wenyang Li

Dr Wenyang Li, born and raised in China, came to Western Australia in 2013, completed bachelor of biomedical science and doctor of medicine at the University of Western Australia. Prior to joining Sunshine Medical Centre, Dr Li has practiced medicine at Joondalup Health Campus and SJOG Midland Hospital across various disciplines. Dr Li has special interests in managing geriatric and complex medical patients, but is also competent in paediatric medicine, obstetric and gynaecology, mental health. Dr Li speaks fluent Mandarin and welcomes patients from all cultural background. In his spare time, Dr Li is a big fan of tennis and hiking.

Eva Wieselmann

Dr. Eva Wieselmann, trained in the Netherlands, is an all-round GP with special interests in Emergency medicine, paediatrics, skin, tropical, and mental health. She provides a holistic approach to health and believes in preventative medicine.

After graduating in 2010 with a Master of Medicine, Eva lived and worked in several countries across Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia. She obtained her GP training in the Netherlands and has been working in family medicine for almost 10 years now.

Eva shares her love for the outdoors and traveling with her Australian husband and their three young children. They seize every opportunity to explore while settling into the South West.

Arjan Ruba

Arjan Ruba, an Accredited Exercise Scientist (AES) and Accredited Clinical Exercise Physiologist (AEP), holds a Masters degree from the University of Western Australia. Arjan has a strong interest in musculoskeletal, pulmonary, and cardiovascular health and is an avid sports player and fitness enthusiast, with a passion for golf, tennis, rugby, netball, and gym workouts. In addition to his professional career, Arjan is an entrepreneur and the founder of the activewear company, Rubafit.

As a certified Personal Trainer, Arjan combines education and hands-on experience to provide clients with customised exercise programs and guidance. He is dedicated to helping individuals improve their physical and mental well-being and is constantly seeking new knowledge and techniques to enhance his skills. When not working, Arjan enjoys being outdoors and trying healthy recipes. Through his work, Arjan aims to inspire and motivate others to live their best lives and is committed to promoting health and wellness.

Stephanie Goodchild

Stephanie is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with over 10 years of clinical experience within various compensable and government-based schemes, including extensive knowledge assisting those with work-place injuries and participants within the National Disability Insurance Scheme. 

Stephanie is passionate and highly skilled in assisting individuals with chronic and complex neurological conditions, psychological illness, various musculoskeletal injuries, cancer and neurodevelopmental diagnosis' including Autism Spectrum Disorder. Stephanie is interested in the positive role exercise can have on a person's mental health and wellbeing and strongly advocate that client-centred exercise therapy can provide a pathway for increasing community, economic and social participation.
