Referrals and Specialist Letters
Referrals to specialists are generally current for 12 months. It is the patient’s responsibility to ensure their referral is current before they see the specialist.
If you require a repeat referral, please make an appointment to discuss this with your doctor.
A referral may occasionally be provided without an appointment but please be aware that there is a fee for this service.
Please note that referrals to specialists cannot be backdated.
